10 Things to be Grateful For

I heard once that you should make a list of things you are grateful for everyday. Everyday write down 10 things that in whatever slight way, have contributed to your happiness, or if you struggle with depression call them 10 things that kept you alive. Try to be as specific as possible instead of "I'm grateful for my children" try "i'm grateful for the silly joke my son/daughter told me today". I would love to hear your 10 Things - so post them in the comments. 



1. I'm grateful for this bottle of red wine. It's been two weeks since i drank wine so it's nice to relax in the evening with a glass.

2. I'm grateful for how happy I made my dog with that giant freshly cooked bone. (and i'm grateful for the pig that provided it) 

3. I'm grateful for the energy and inspirations I had to cleanup my house today. 

4. I'm grateful for the few hours I had to myself alone in the house today. I sang out loud. 

5. I'm grateful for my dreams last night. (I dreamed I had a baby.)

6. I'm grateful for the warm breeze today. Autumn is coming fast and i hate the cold. 

7. I'm grateful for being able to fix my touch pad on my laptop. 

8.I'm grateful for my WiFi working and being able to watch latest Grey's Anatomy, Big Bang Theory, and HIMYM. 

9. I'm grateful that someone will read this post, think about their day and write a list with a smile. 

10. I'm grateful for the peace and calm I'm feeling right now. 


I admit, I started to have trouble after 6 but I made it. I encourage you to try and share. It will make you smile, it will make me smile, so why not?
